Keyword Research Guide from Wordtracker

There’s nothing like good content to generate good inbound links. We’ve just helped Wordtracker to publish a 75-page Keyword Research Guide available at no cost from their website, http://www.wordtracker.com.

The guide, “Vegetarian Dog Food – Does it Stand a Pup’s Chance?”, features Susan Webster, CEO of a fictional company that wants to sell vegetarian dog food online. She approaches nine leading experts to ask for help and their replies are published in full.

The guide is aimed primarily at newcomers to keyword research and features contributions from Bryan Eisenberg, B. L. Ochman, Kevin Lee, Stephen Mahaney, John Alexander, Neil Davidson, Robin Good, Nick Usborne and myself.

The guide was put together by:

1. We created a fictional case study – a business owner who was new to SEO and wanted to launch a new product online.
2. We wrote to SEO experts and asked them to contribute a free article on the advice they would offer our fictional character.
3. We published all the replies in PDF format and are in the process of spreading the word as widely as we can.
