New online videos to assist consumers with tax information and other issues have been launched by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
This expansion on the internet has been praised by Business Link, which claims it will give small businesses a confidence boost.
Jonathan Hollow, director of transformational government at Business Link, said that the online platform allows for more explanation of details and can therefore increase understanding.
"The purpose of this video is to give businesses the absolute key headlines about each of the tax areas and give them that top level of confidence," he stated.
"I don't think anyone claims that all tax is easy, but HRMC did quite a lot of research into user needs before they went about creating these videos."
TV presenter Dan Snow is the host of the ten new videos, while a free guide for small businesses has also been made available by HMRC to accompany them.
