Broadband speeds are one of the main issues which small business owners and other internet users are most interested in, a new survey has revealed.
The study from Thinkbroadband.com has found that the three most commonly asked questions regarding broadband connections involve speed.
These included queries wondering if the received speed was correct, how download speeds are affected at night and other peak times, as well as a question regarding whether or not routers need to be left on at all times.
Sebastien Lahtinen, founder of the website, said: "We have found that the nature of the queries we receive seems to revolve around the same issues year after year.
"The three most popular questions are focused on speed and technical equipment such as modems and routers, although we do frequently get asked 'who is the best broadband provider'?"
Thinkbroadband.com has advised that if internet connections are not used for more than eight hours, it is worth turning routers off.
