Businesses are getting in touch with clients using the mobile internet in innovative and personal ways.

Mobile web services, as well as the internet in general, have revolutionised how firms market themselves to consumers and get in touch with existing clients.

Dialogue believes that the added personal touch these methods can provide could make the difference to businesses.

Pinder Takhar, marketing manager at the mobile solutions provider, said: "What you can do is personalise messages as well so you can have different types of campaigns.

"You can actually target messages to be sent out at certain times of day to a certain audience with certain interests, or if they've responded to a particular ad so that you know that's what product they're interested in, so it's a good way to market."

Ms Takhar recently spoke alongside the likes of the BBC, MyCustomer.com, Ogilvy London, LinkedIn, Google and the Digital Training Academy at the Technology for Marketing & Advertising Show.
