IBM has announced it will team up with a provider of web-based customer relationship management (CRM) software.
The multi-national computer company has agreed a partnership with iEnterprises to supply CRM software-as-a-service (SaaS) to middle and small sized construction companies around the world.
This deal will provide building firms with an affordable alternative to expensive enterprise CRM software, which can help firms run their operations more cost efficiently as well as intelligently and productively.
Specifically, SaaS can reduce the budget involved in purchasing and maintaining this technology, which is especially important for construction firms in the current economic climate as the industry has been badly hit.
iEnterprises' also provides organisations with Lotus Notes desktop CRM, construction CRM and pharmaceutical CRM.
Earlier this month, the consultancy firm Accenture advised firms to invest in CRM software to combat the low levels of customer satisfaction.
