Internet business transactions allow 'customisation'

An increasing number of businesses are turning to internet business transactions as an everyday way of working.

That is the view of Perception System, which has observed that the rise of transactions via the web is due to the customisation it allows firms.

However, it also noted that the proper systems need to be in place in order for online transactions to be viable for business.

In a statement, Perception Systems said that companies need to ensure their products and services are effective and payment methods are secure.

"One can get customised services from his e commerce solution provider that best suit his online business requirements," it added.

"E commerce website development works well for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer websites, and greatly increase profit margins. These online options enable rapid business construction, and allows for feedback about the number of visitors coming to an online store."

The Participatory Marketing Network research has found that 62 per cent of Generation Y internet users have visited businesses on social networks.
