A new website that seeks to join together customers with a huge range of common interests has been launched by Nestle.
The company has relaunched its Creating Shared Value website with numerous new features and a complete site structure change.
It includes more adoption of up-to-date techniques, with six new videos and nine short interviews available for visitors to view.
These interviews feature nutritional experts giving advice and tips, with Nestle being placed as a company conscious of its role in and impact upon society through the website.
In addition, a map that allows people to search for news in their own specific area has been enabled.
There are separate sections for nutrition, rural development and water, with information on initiatives that fit under those headings being kept in each section.
The site continues Nestle's stated policy of not favouring "short-term profit at the expense of successful long-term business development".
