Website owners looking to increase their search engine ranking can now optimise their sites using a new keyword suggestion tool that provides examples of specific search terms.
Issuing up to 100 search terms at a time, the free tool is designed to help webmasters quickly and easily brainstorm ideas for keywords that can be used both within the site and in a business' overall web marketing strategy.
"Keywords are simply the words people use when they search," explained Mike Mindel, chief technical officer and co-founder of Wordtracker.
"Incorporate those words into your website copy and your position in search engines results will rise – often dramatically – and that means more sales online."
Increasing the frequency of keywords within a site often makes them more attractive to search engines and using the more commonly searched for words generates a better return on investment from pay-per-click ad campaigns.
Mr Mindel added: "We're confident that once people see the benefits of initial keyword research, they will realise that this is a profitable marketing resource that they simply can't do without."
