Networking site FastPitch! is offering businesses a new facility allowing them to add a business blog to their profile.
Businesses will be able to promote their blog through a dedicated website named Fast Pitch! Blogs.
FastPitch! promises that the service will afford users the opportunity to expose their business blog to like-minded business professionals.
Officially launched last week, the site already features links to more than 1,000 business-related blogs, which can be searched via categories including topic, industry and author.
Fast Pitch! founder and CEO Bill Jula said: "Blogs are becoming more and more popular as a way for businesses to bring people closer to their brand.
"Similar to our press service, our members can enhance the visibility of their blog through rankings, optimization and more. Blogging, like anything else, needs exposure for it to be effective", he added.
Member blogs will be ranked according to their Fast Pitch! membership level. Platinum Member blogs will receive top ranking while Premium Members and Basic Members, respectively, will be ranked second and third.
Staff will police the blog website to ensure that only business-related blogs are listed.
