Internet browser Firefox has developed a new tool for its browser aimed at web users who do business on trading site eBay.
Currently bids and sales can be tracked on eBay's website but the new add-on to Firefox allows users to track their business without having to devote a window to the deals.
All the information provided is in real time and it receives live updates and status alerts.
In addition, it comes equipped with extra security in the form of Account Guard integration and anti-phishing protection.
"eBay
has always strived to offer its users an easy and safe online trading experience and the Firefox Companion for eBay is an innovative development to support this effort," said Torsten Schuppe, head of interactive marketing at eBay UK.
"We are thrilled about the collaboration with Mozilla and offering the great community of Firefox users an easier, safer and faster way to use eBay and to stay up to date with their auctions."
As the tool is new, Mozilla are asking users to give the company feedback on how the tool is working for them. To download the program and give your opinion on its usefulness to your business, click here.
