A new integration between Actinic and PayPal has been announced which will allow Actinic to transact credit card payments through PayPal as well as taking orders through PayPal users' accounts.
PayPal's payments processing systems will now be available across Actinic's ecommerce platforms, both hosted and desktop-based.
The announcement follows the recent integration between the web-based Actinic Express and Website Payment Pro.
The system also enables current PayPal Pro users to upgrade to any of Actinic's range.
The website Payment Pro offers internet businesses Express Checkout, Direct Payment API and Virtual Terminal functions.
The Virtual Terminal is a new feature enabling online sellers to accept orders offline using fax, phone or email. Merchants can use the online system to enter details which are then processed by PayPal.
Carl-Olav Scheible, general manager of Merchant Services at Pay Pal, said: "With Website Payment Pro, Actinic merchants can now offer direct credit card processing and PayPal Express Checkout, giving their customers a full range of payment choices."
