Entering awards offer great media backlink opportunities as well as being beneficial for the business and staff. Take this example from family-owned business PlantGrow who won the ‘Breaking Boundaries’ category of the Norfolk Business Awards, at the second time of asking.
Not only did they win the award, they earned a media backlink from the Eastern Daily Press. Daniel Suggitt, general manager explained, “Entering the award makes you step back and really focus on the positives of what you do, which you can take a bit for granted until you’re talking someone else through it”.
